4 arrested in alleged theft of $66,000 in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Astana Criminal Police Department officers have detained a criminal group of four people.
According to police, the suspects smashed the front door and broke into the office owned by a company in Astana. The criminals burst the safe open to take USD 66 thousand which were inside. The oldest of the detainees had been repeatedly judged, he is 43 years old. The rest criminals are aged 20-21. Criminal case under the Article 175 part 4 of the Criminal Code has been opened. In the course of operational and investigative activities detainees confessed to 38 previously committed similar crimes. The investigation is underway.
