38 medical facilities to open in Akmola region by yearend
38 medical facilities, including outpatient clinics, rural health posts and medical aid stations will open in Akmola region by yearend. All the facilities will be fitted with necessary equipment and transport, Kazinform News Agency cites the akimat press service.
Nearly 10 billion tenge was allocated from the budget for the construction of medical facilities under the Rural healthcare modernization program. Over 43,000 people in remote rural settlements will have access to health services.
A rural health post in Baumanskoye village was one of the first to open its doors. 246 million tenge was allotted for its construction. It is expected to receive up to 40 patients a day.
In addition, 3 billion tenge were channeled for capital repairs underway at 20 facilities to reduce deterioration of health infrastructure ad raise quality of medical assistance.
It is worth noting, 27 medical facilities were under construction in Kyzylorda region.
