-38 °C grips East Kazakhstan, classes canceled

UST KAMENOGORSK. KAZIFORM Lessons have been canceled today in some districts of East Kazakhstan as the region remains in grips of severe frost, the emergencies department said.
Mercury dropped as low as -38 degrees Celsius in Zyryanovksy district, while Shemonaikha district woke up to -27degrees Celsius frost.
