35 new projects to be implemented in construction industry
"We make Kazakhstan a huge construction site and create tens of thousands of jobs. Definitely, construction industry, metallurgy, processing industry will be developing around housing construction and construction of big enterprises," the President of Kazakhstan said in his Address to the Nation "Social and economic modernization - main direction of development of Kazakhstan".
According to the information of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan, construction industry and woodwork and timber industry increased by 2.3%, the volume of production made KZT 125.5 bln in the first half of 2012.
It should be noted that there are 199 large and 393 medium and small enterprises on production of construction materials in Kazakhstan. Moreover, 85 projects totaling KZT 117 bln have been launched over two years of the operation period of the Program. In 2012-2014, it is planned to implement 35 projects amounting to KZT 211 bln.
New productions are necessary for large-scale development of construction industry within the framework of the Affordable Housing Program where the technologies of large-panel housing construction will be employed on the basis of house building factories.
As the Ministry informs, the working groups on spatial location of construction of house building factories and defining their role in the Program on Affordable Housing has been formed. A memorandum on price-fixing for the main types of construction materials will be signed between akimats, constructors and producers.
Besides, it was noted that house construction factories have a number of advantages over the solid-cast ways of building. They ensure high quality of productivity - 7 people involved in the production process are able to build 750 sq meters in one shift, high degree of the automation of the system, high indicators regarding production time and quality of constructions, wide range of the assortment of produced products, low prices - 30% cheaper than the solid-cast construction method, etc.
In whole, thanks to commissioning of new and current productions within the framework of the Affordable Housing Program, the share of domestic production of construction materials will be increased by 90% by 2020.
