35 killed in Baghdad car bomb attack

BAGHDAD. January 28. KAZINFORM At least 35 people were killed and more than 60 injured on Thursday when a car bomb went off near a funeral ceremony in the northwest of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, according to Iran's Press TV. Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
The explosion took place around 11:00 GMT in Baghdad's predominantly Shia district of Shula, causing extensive damage to nearby buildings.
Recent terrorist attacks have mainly targeted the majority Shia community and Iraqi security forces.
