35 killed by bomb explosion in southern Afghanistan

CAIRO. June 25. KAZINFORM Thirty five people died and some 40 were wounded by a bomb explosion in the Logar Province, south of Kabul, Din Mohammad, official representative of the province, reported on Saturday. Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
"A suicide bomber with a 'shahid belt' on him entered a hospital, where he set off the explosive device," he said. The victims were mostly civilians - patients of the hospital, their relatives, visitors and the medical staff.
The Taliban movement did not claim responsibility for the act of terrorism. They said they did not attack civilian facilities. Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com
