3 regions of Kazakhstan record warmest January in 36 years
Three regions of Kazakhstan recorded the warmest January in 36 years, Kazinform News Agency learnt from Kazhydromet.

The first decade of January was much-warmer-than-average with 1-13 degrees Celsius above normal.
The meteorological station of Mangistau region registered the highest air temperature on January 1 up to +11.1 degrees Celsius beating the record of +8.9 degrees recorded in 2003.
Mercury read +11.1 degrees Celsius in Aktau on January 8 beating the 1988 record with +4.7 degrees.
January 10 was the warmest day in Semey with air temperature reaching +6.3 degrees Celsius since 1988.
Pavlodar recorded the warmest January temperature rising as high as +3.1 degrees Celsius beating the prior record of 2018 settling at +0.3 degrees.
Balkhash also set a record for the warmest January weather on January 10 hitting +7.1 degrees Celsius beating the 1988 record with +1.2 degrees.
