ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 29 freight wagons derailed on Chernovodsk - Badam railroad section in South Kazakhstan region causing 10 passenger trains' delay, the press - service of "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC informs.
As it was previously reported by the Emergency Ministry, in Ordabasy district of South Kazakhstan region, 29 freight wagons derailed on Chernovodsk - Badam railroad section. In particular, there were 8 tanks with sulfuric acid, 17 wagons with building materials, 2 container cars, 1 wagon loaded with grain, and 1 thermos car. There have been damaged 150 meters of railway track and 4 catenary supports. Emergency recovery involved 240 people and 22 units of equipment.
