27th ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championships 2024 kicks off in Astana
210 athletes from 26 countries will participate in the 27th ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championships 2024, which started today, October 7, in Astana, Kazinform News Agency has learned from the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Team Kazakhstan includes Kirill Gerassimenko, Alan Kurmangaliyev, Iskender Kharki, Aidos Kenzhigulov, Sanzhar Zhubanov, Sarvinoz Mirkadirova, Zauresh Akasheva, Anastassiya Lavrova, Anel Bakhyt, and Angelina Romanovskaya.
The participants of the 27th ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championships 2024 are to vie in men’s and women’s singles, doubles, team and mixed events.
The National Tennis Center (Beeline Arena) hosts the tournament. Entrance for spectators is free. The championship will be broadcast by Qazsport TV channel from 10:00 am Astana time daily. The event is set to run till October 13.
