27 died in fires in Zhambyl rgn in 2014

TARAZ. KAZINFORM About 600-700 fires break out annually in the Zhambyl region, yet nine out of ten start due entirely to the people's fault, the emergencies department said.
668 fires were recorded last year in the region claiming 27 lives and injuring 23. The property loss reached KZT 122,6 mln. The number of fires occurred in 2014 increased by 21% as compared to 2013. It is noteworthy, 256 or 38% of cases are due to careless handling of fire.
