26 innovative treatment methods introduced in National Research Centre of Emergency Care in 2011

'26 innovative high technology treatment methods were introduced in the Center in 2011.  As of today, 9 operations on transplantation of bone marrow have been carried out as well as 75 surgeries on total joint replacement of people with hemophilia,' I. Pivovarova said.

According to her, this is the sixth in the world center that performs these operations.

Besides, she noted that a project on rendering medical care to people with oncologic diseases with complex immune-biological therapy taken into account was implemented in Kazakhstan for the first time in the world and accordingly it was highly appraised by foreign experts.

'Master classes for regional specialists are held on the basis of the Center and we transfer developed methods to regional hospitals,' I. Pivovarova added.
