258 sq m of housing commissioned in Karaganda region this year

ASTANA. October 25. KAZINFORM - 258 thousand square meters of housing or more than 2 thousand apartments were commission in Karaganda region under the program "Affordable Housing 2020" for the 9 months of this year, Governor Baurzhan Abdishev told a press conference on Friday, the web-site of the Prime Minister informs.
According to him, by 2020 it is planned to put into operation 3.5 million square meters of housing or around 38,000 apartments.
The head of the region also noted that to reduce the cost of housing in the region it was planned to launch construction of house-building factories on new technology that would produce 162 thousand cubic meters of conventionally reinforced concrete per year.
"This is the equivalent of 60,000 square meters of finished housing and 60,000 square meters of buildings and structures," he added.
