250-bed multi-field children's hospital to be launched in Astana next year

ASTANA. December 31. KAZINFORM A 250-bed multi-field children's hospital will be launched in Astana next year. Astana Akim (Mayor) Imangali Tasmagambetov has informed of it addressing to the city's authorities.
According to him, for the past three years 10 various medical institutions were launched in the healthcare system.
"Now our efforts are directed to development of the polyclinic sector. A 500-bed multi-field hospital was launched on the threshold of the Independence Day. Next year we will put into commission a 250-bed multi-field children's hospital. Two facilities - adult and children's infectious diseases hospitals - are under construction," Astana Akim said. Besides, according to him, the city faces a task on specialized clinics, in particular, construction of a TB dispensary.
"The second problem in healthcare is connected with the polyclinic sector. We should solve this issue in the nearest to-three years," I.Tasmagambetov added.
