25 lost children rescued in Almaty region
One adult and 25 children aged 8 to 15 years lost their way 300 meters from the Tau Samaly ski resort in the Talgar district of the Almaty region, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Rescuers were dispatched to track down the group and return them to the ski resort.
The Republican Operational Rescue Squad successfully located the missing group and brought them back to safety. The vacationers required no medical assistance.
Earlier Kazinform reported that rescuers managed to save two local residents aged 14 and 16 in the mountains of the Almaty region. The teenagers went to the mountains and lost their way. They were unable to find their way back and called 112 to get help.
After the rescue crew found the lost teens they were taken back to safety. No medical treatment was required.
