25.000 students from Kazakhstan obtain education abroad at their own expense - Z.Tuimebayev

KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ 3.000 representatives of the Kazakh youth study abroad under the Bolashak program, and 25.000 students from Kazakhstan obtain education abroad at their own expense. Kazakh Minister of education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev has made it public at a roundtable in the Ministry today.
"About 800 students study in England within the Bolashak program, and over 3.500 students - outside the program", Z.Tuimebayev said.
In this connection, the Minister emphasized necessity of solution of one of the important education issues - learning of the English language.
"Nowadays we develop the English language teaching concept in schools, professional and technical institutes and universities. Our textbooks do not meet international standards. A working group works over it", Z.Tuimebayev said.
The Minister noted that he often meets with heads of famous universities and they note good quality of knowledge, the Kazakh students' striving.
