2024 Olympics: Kazakhstan's Dmitriy Panarin lost in 2nd match

Kazakhstan's badminton player Dmitry Panarin lost in Men's Single Group Play Stage at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Kazinform reports.

He faced 22-year-old Canadian Brian Yang who won two games. The first game ended with the score of 21:18, and the second one ended with the score of 21:10.
This is the first time, Kazakhstan is represented in badminton at the Olympic Games. The competition was included into the Olympics program in Barcelona in 1992 and was held at the La Chapelle arena.
Previously, Panarin lost his first match against Japanese Kenta Nishimoto.
