2024 Olympic Games: Mariya Dmitriyenko competes in Trap Women's Qualification
Today, July 30, Kazakhstani shooter, Mariya Dmitriyenko, secured fourth place in Trap Women's Qualification at the ongoing 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The Kazakh competitor achieved a score of 73. The second day of qualification will commence tomorrow, after which the athletes who have qualified for the finals will be announced.
Earlier, Dmitriyenko won gold medal at 2024 ISSF Shooting World Cup in the Egyptian capital of Cairo.
To date, Kazakhstan has secured three medals.
It bears to remind that our shooters Alexandra Le and Islam Satpayev won bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team competition.
31-year-old Yeldos Smetov claimed Kazakhstan’s first gold medal in judo at the ongoing 2024 Paris Games. Smetov, who competed in men's 60kg, defeated French Luka Mkheidze, bronze medalist of 2020 Tokyo Games, on points. This is Yeldos Smetov's first Olympic gold. He won silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Judoka Gusman Kyrgyzbayev claimed bronze medal of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on July 28. He defeated Strahinja Bunčić from Serbia in men’s 66kg match.
