2014 International Physics Olympiad will take place in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 5. KAZINFORM - The International Physics Olympiad will be held in 2014 in Kazakhstan. This has been announced today at a meeting with young physicists by the Minister of Education and Science Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov. "In 2014 we will be conducting in Astana the International Physics Olympiad. We hope that you will participate in it," said the Minister, talking to the students, Olympians, in the nuclear center of the Eurasian National University named after Gumilyov.
The head of the education department said that, in general, from year to year among Kazakhstani schoolchildren number of winners of various competitions is growing .
"In 2012 we had 888 winners of various competitions. This number doubled during six months of the year. That means that we have a chance to make this number bigger", said B.Zhumagulov.
However, he stressed that our wonder kids take part only in reputable and sophisticated contests.
