2011 SCO jubilee summit must be held at high level - Saudabayev

ASTANA. August 11. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ SCO member states will join efforts to prepare for high level summit of the organization devoted to its 10th anniversary in June 2011 in Astana. Chairman of the SCO Foreign Ministers' Council, Kazakh Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev said it at the meeting with national coordinators and heads of the SCO Secretariat.
The results of the sitting of National Coordinators' Council held on August 10-11 in Astana were considered at the meeting.
K. Saudabayev praised the work of the Council, the main body responsible for coordination of the SCO states' activities. He thanked the member countries and the organization's permanent structures for the support of the Kazakh initiative on adoption of a brand new SCO Action Plan for 2010-2011.
