2010 trade turnover between Kazakhstan and South Korea increased by 50% - Nazarbayev

ASTANA. August 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and South Korea over 2010 has increased by 50 percent and reached USD mln this year. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced it during a meeting with South Korea's Lee Myung-bak.

"I would like to outline that over the past three years we made a significant breakthrough in our relations, and now they have character of strategic cooperation between our countries. Over the past three years we have met five times and solved many joint matters," N.Nazarbayev said.

The Head of State noted that at present the volume of the South Korean investments in Kazakhstan exceeded USD 4 bln.
