2 workers killed, 7 injured after explosive powder takes fire in Zhambyl

ASTANA. August 28. KAZINFORM - In Kordai area of Zhambyl region (Otar station) yesterday at 05:20 p.m. in the shop for packing powder at the point for ammunition disposal of "Kazakhvzryvprom" JSC there took place ignition of propellant charge, which was followed by explosion.
Fire area was 18 sq.m. As a result, two employees died in the hospital, and 7 other workers with thermal burns are in the trauma department of the medical institution.
