The process was under the supervision of the commission, which includes representatives of the territorial fishery inspection, Atyrau Oblast administration, "Nur Otan" party and other public organizations, as well as media representatives.

It should be noted that the Ural-Caspian region in the last decade has been experiencing the greatest press of adverse human impact on aquatic biological resources in connection with active business operations in the region. This raises the need for artificial rearing of juveniles with subsequent release into the wild.

Earlier, on June 28 of this year, the Ural-Atyrau sturgeon hatchery carried out release into the natural habitat of about 2.3 million pieces of sturgeon fish species.
