2 killed in fatal head-on collision in Karaganda

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Two people were killed in Karaganda city as a result of head-on collision of a motorbike with a car, local police say.
The road accident occurred on Sunday evening when a 20-year-old driver of the VAZ-2107 rammed his car into the HONDA motorbike at the intersection of Yermekov and Gazaliyev streets. The 26-year-old bike driver and his passenger died straight away of sustained injuries. The VAZ-2107 driver was detained. A criminal investigation has been initiated.
