2% GDP growth predicted for 2010 - Kazakh Economic Development & Trade Ministry

ASTANA. April 20. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ GDP growth is predicted at 2% this year. Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zhanar Aitzhanova has made it public at the Government's sitting today.
"In accordance with the conservative scenario, wherein crude oil export price is 60-65 dollars per barrel, the GDP growth is predicted at the level of 2%", the Minister said.
She also informed that according to preliminary estimates, the real GDP growth made 6.5% upon the results of the first quarter of 2010.
