2,081 Kazakh students awarded vacant educational grants

ASTANA. January 26. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ "2,081 students in Kazakhstan were awarded vacant educational grants", Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev has said today at the press conference.
According to him, 23,737 students got grants beginning from the last year that is 70% out of the state order.
The vacant educational grants were given to students studying on a fee-paying basis on the assumption of the level of their grades and social status.
763 students out of the total amount are orphans, persons with disabilities, students from families with many children or single-parent families.
