2 061 killed in 9 700 traffic road accidents for 9 months, 2012 in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. October 25. KAZINFORM For the past nine months of 2012, 97 00 road accidents occurred in Kazakhstan killing 2 061 people and injuring 11 923, the statement of the Kazakh Road Police Committee reads.
To improve the situation the Kazakh Road Police Committee carries out the Safe Road national preventive action the countrywide from October 24 through October 29, 2012. Its aim is to overcome the current negative situation on the roads through restraint of dangerous violations of driving regulations leading to road accidents.
