2, 000 jobs created due to launch of gold recovery plant in Akmola oblast

AKMOLA OBLAST. May 28. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ For the first time Kazakhstan has utilized the largest investments to the amount of USD 700 mln due to which we have built a gold recovery plant. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at a meeting with the staff of the Vasilkovsky Mining and Processing Complex in Akmola oblast today.
The Head of the State noted that the new plant was provided with up-to-date technological equipment imported from the western countries. Alongside, due to new production 2, 000 jobs were created. Local people only are working at the plant.
"The state industrial-innovative program was developed namely for these purposes", the President stressed.
