1st sitting of KIMEP-Forum-Development project held in Almaty

ALMATY. February 17. KAZINFORM. /Yekaterina Ionova/ Kazakh Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP) has held the first sitting of its new project "KIMEP-Forum-Development" (KFD) in Almaty today.
KFD was founded by the Student Association of KIMEP for discussion of topical social and political events.
The participants discussed the issues of promotion of Kazakhstan's model of interethnic accord, National Unity Doctrine and ways of maintaining and developing culture of all ethnic communities living in the country.
According to the chief of Almaty Youth Policy Department Bakhtiyar Makenov, the support of interethnic accord in Kazakhstan is due to the balanced state policy, revival and self-preservation of ethnic diasporas as well as development of multicultural diversity.
