1st Kazakhstan International Occupational Safety and Health Conference and Exhibition is on in Astana

As is known, on April 28 the world community marks the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. On this day many countries of the globe pay tribute to the working people, who suffered from occupational accidents, and propagate labor protection measures.

"Labor protection and safety remain the most important socio-economic problem requiring more and more attitude from the state, employers and workers. Unsatisfactory conditions of work, industrial injuries and occupational diseases lead our society to more expenses", Minister of Labor and Social Protection Gulshara Abdykalikova said during the conference.

In this view the Minister said that by the assessment of the International Labor Organization, Kazakhstan had created an optimum system of labor relations which promotes the employers to increase production efficiency and develop social partnership.
