18 modern dairy farms to be built in N Kazakhstan

North Kazakhstan region is to build 18 dairy farms as part of the Big project. For this, 17 billion tenge has been provided from the republican budget, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
The funding is provided through Soltustik agricultural production cooperative. According to the corporative, preferential loans for construction of the first seven dairy farms have already been approved.
Over the past five years, the region has built 30 dairy farms for 16.3 thousand of cattle with a capacity of 82 thousand tons of milk. Up to 1 thousand workplaces have been created.
