18 injured in train derailment in Britain

LONDON. August 18. KAZINFORM Eighteen people have been injured, four seriously, as a train derailed in a crash with a lorry on a level crossing on Tuesday in Suffolk of eastern England. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The two-carriage diesel passenger train was in collision with the sewage tanker in Little Cornard, Sudbury, later Tuesday afternoon and Suffolk Police have described the crash as a "major incident."
The East of England Ambulance Service said two people who had been trapped on the train suffered life-threatening injuries. Two others also suffered injuries which were less serious.
All the injured people have been taken to hospital for treatment and British Transport Police (BTP) said there were 20 people on board the train. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
