170 poacher fishing nets seized in vicinity of Bulgaria wreck area
According to the spokesman, specialists will continue searching through such net in a bid to find the bodies of people missing after the ship wreck.
According to Itar-Tass, rescuers have recovered 114 dead bodies - 20 men, 66 women, and 28 children. As many as 15 people - six men, four women, and five children - are still missing.
The Bulgaria riverboat, which was on a Bolgary-Kazan river voyage, sank in the Kuibyshev dam lake in conditions of stormy weather on July 10. Built in 1955, the ship listed to the starboard and sank within minutes. Its official seating capacity was 140 people, but reportedly it was carrying 208 people with some of the passengers having boarded unregistered. Seventy nine passengers - 29 women, 10 children, and 40 men - were rescued.
