17 people suspected to have swine flu - Akmola oblast

KOKSHETAU. July 27. KAZINFORM /Zhanmurat Zhanaidarov/ 17 people in Akmola oblast are suspected to have A(H1N1) virus or swine flu. They have been taken under control, two of them are isolated, local administration of the state sanitary-epidemiological surveillance informs.
As Mukharam Aminov, deputy head of the administration, has said, one of the students who arrived from London to Astana, is a citizen of Stepnogorsk town. According to preliminary data, 15 residents of Akmola oblast were on board of London-Istanbul-Astana plane. Six of them are children. Tourists who arrived in Kokshetau are taken under sanitary control as well. Besides, a woman, 21, who arrived in Shuchinsk is suspected to have this virus. Two kids who had contacted the infected people were taken to Infectious Disease Hospital. The persons who were in contact with them were taken under special control.
