17 evacuated from dormitory fire in S Kazakhstan

ASTANA. May 3. KAZINFORM 17 people were evacuated from the fire that broke out in a five-storey dormitory of the Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University yesterday in Kentau town, South Kazakhstan region, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry.
The fire, which had covered the area of 20 sq m, was extinguished within two hours. The firefighters rescued a one year old baby from the burning building. 17 people were evacuated in total. No injuries were reported.
