16 settlements remain without electricity in Pavlodar region due to strong wind
Electricity supply has been restored in 101 settlements out of 117, where gust wind caused power outages, in Pavlodar region, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
As the press service of the region’s administration informed electricity has been restored in 101 rural settlements of Pavlodar region as of 3:00 pm on January 11.
Works are ongoing to restore electricity supply to five settlements of Aksu city’s rural area, one settlement in Pavlodar district, two settlements in Aktogai district, two settlements in Irtysh district, one settlement in Akkuly district, and five settlements in Bayanaul district, said the press service.
Notably, strong wind damaged electricity power lines causing power outages and tore off the roofs of several rural schools in Pavlodar region overnight.
