16 gambling halls suppressed in Turkestan

SHYMKENT. September 29. KAZINFORM South Kazakhstan department for economic and corruption-related crime control stopped the illegal activities of 16 gambling halls in Turkestan.
The fiscal police withdrew 168 game-playing machines at large.
For the past 9 months 125 criminal cases were initiated, 1 286 gambling machines and more than KZT 2 mln were withdrawn. 16 casinos have been shut down in South Kazakhstan since the beginning of the year.
