15-year-old boy arrested for stabbing mother in back

ISHIKAWA. KAZINFORM - Police in Kaga, Ishikawa Prefecture, said Monday they have arrested a 15-year-old boy for attempted murder after he stabbed his 40-year-old mother in the back at their home.
According to police, the boy attacked his mother with a kitchen knife after they had argued about signing a contract with an Internet provider at around 8:50 p.m. Sunday, Sankei reported. The boy's younger sister, who was home at the time, called one of her mother's friends who then called 119. She said her brother was yelling "I'm going to kill you" as he stabbed his mother, Kazinform refers to Japan Today . The mother was taken to hospital with knife wounds to her back but her injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
