15 evacuated as house went up in flames in Astana

ASTANA. September 20. KAZINFORM A 5-storey house burst into fire at the Zhenys Avenue in Astana on September 19, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies reported.
The fire covered an area of three square meters. A 72-year-old man and a 6-year-old boy were hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning. Another fifteen housemates including four children were evacuated. Thirty two firemen and seven units of the fire service equipment worked at the scene.
The same day, a summer house went up in flames in Almaty region. The fire covered an area of 48 square meters. An unidentified body was found at the scene of the accident. Five firefighters and one unit of the fire service equipment of the region's emergency department worked at the scene.
