146 500 people to take training and retraining courses in 2009 ? Minister of Education

ASTANA. March 19. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ KZT 14.4 bln will be allotted for training and retraining of 146 500 people in 2009, Zhansseit Tuimebayev, Minister of Education and Science has said at the enlarged session of the Board today, Kazinform reports.
100 000 people will be covered within the Regional Employment Strategy (KZT 7 bln 320 mln). KZT 4.1 bln is provided for training of 23.5 thousand people.
Alongside 23 000 Kazakhstani specialists will be trained to replace foreign labor force. The program will be financed by home and foreign employers attracting foreign labor force. In this regard, KZT 3 bln will be alloted.
