14 died, 13 injured in car accidents countrywide within a day

ASTANA. October 27. KAZINFORM 14 people died, 13 persons were hospitalized as a result of car accidents countrywide over the past day; the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies reports.

In Atyrau oblast VAZ and Toyota automobiles collided on the Shokpar togai-Kulsary road. As a result of the accident the VAZ driver and his passenger died on the spot. The Toyota driver and his passenger were hospitalized.

In East Kazakhstan oblast a Jinbei automobile was overturned. The driver died on the spot.

In Karaganda oblast Toyota automobile was also overturned on the Almaty-Yekaterinburg road. As a result of the accident the driver and three passengers were hospitalized.

In Kyzylorda oblast Audi and Volkswagen automobiles collided on the Shymkent-Samara road. Both drivers and three passengers died on the spot. Another five people were hospitalized.

In Mangystau oblast a UAZ automobile was overturned on the Shetpe-Ushtagan road. As a result of the accident five passengers died on the spot, two persons were hospitalized.

In Almaty the Toyota driver knocked down a pedestrian, who died on the spot.
