14 companies of Samruk-Kazyna to be put for sale

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - This month, the state holding "Samruk-Kazyna" intends to sell 14 companies, the press office of the Fund informs.

"In September 2014 the fund plans to auction 14 companies", the press-service of the state holding reported citing the deputy chairman of the Board of "Samruk-Kazyna" Elena Bakhmutova. List for sale includes 9 companies as part of "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC, 2 of "Kazakhstan Engineering" JSC, 1 subsidiary of "KazMunayGas" JSC and 2 of "Samruk-Kazyna". Information about on-sale objects is promptly updated on the site of the State Property Committee of the Ministry of Finance. To ensure the transparency of the privatization process, Samruk-Kazyna has formed a special committee which includes members of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and representatives of the National Chamber of entrepreneurs. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC has developed a comprehensive privatization plan for 2014-2016.
