14 candidates for presidency in Kazakhstan put forward since March 2

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A briefing of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan was held today. The briefing was focused on the process of putting forward the candidates for the presidency in Kazakhstan and on the process of preparation for the early presidential elections in Kazakhstan.

According to the approved by the Central Election Commission plan, the process of putting forward candidates for participation in the early presidential election in Kazakhstan began on February 26. The elections are scheduled to be held on April 26, 2015, the press service of the Central Election Commission informs.

14 candidates have been put forward in the period from March 2 through March 9.

The following candidates nominated themselves:

1. Askar Syrgabayev;

2. Safiolla Aldazhanov;

3. Limana Koishiyeva;

4. Bakhyt Abdukarimov;

5. Sukhrab Myrzashov;

6. Yesenbek Ukteshbayev;

7. Yakobzhan Dzhunisbekov;

8. Kairat Zhuman;

9. Yerzhan Sergazin;

10. Kairat Maishev;

11. Ualikhan Kaissarov;

12. Bakhtiyar Yestemesov;

13. Kanat Turageldiyev.

The Central Election Commission makes sure all of the candidates meet the requirements of the Constitution and the Law of Kazakhstan.
