121 families live in Kazakhstan with the status of refugee

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In Kazakhstan registered 497 people with refugee status, said the head of the Department of Migration Police under the Ministry of Internal Affairs Serik Sainov.
"To date the number of recognized refugees equals to 497 or 121 families. Among them 297 persons are citizens of Tajikistan, 98 are Pashtun, other people are of Hazar and Uzbek nationality", said S.Sainov at a briefing after the meeting between the UNHCR representative Saber Azam and the Minister of Internal Affairs Kalmukhanbet Kassymov. According to Mr. S.Sainov, refugees do not have problems with employment. About 90 % of the refugees are engaged in private business.
