11 soldiers gone AWOL from Tersairyk border outpost

ASTANA. June 19. KAZINFORM 11 unarmed military men called up for service in November 2011 have gone AWOL from the Tersairyk border outpost of Zaisansk border detachment early in the morning of June 18, press release of the Frontier Service of the National Security Committee reads.
Chief of the border outpost tried to arrange search for eleven absentees who had gone missing and reported the emergency to the authorities only late in the evening the same day.
At the moment the Frontier Service and the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan are busy with investigation measures.
According to preliminary data, the enlisted men went missing amid military hazing.
