11 killed in flash floods in southeastern France

PARIS. June 16. KAZINFORM Eleven people have been killed in flash floods in southeastern France, with two others missing, a local radio reported on Wednesday; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The casualties were reported in the Var region, which were hit by exceptionally heavy rains recently, said France-Info radio.
Electricity has been cut off for tens of thousands of people in the region, with some 1,200 people staying at shelters in the night, said the report; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
