11 injured in a bus-truck collision in Russia's resort city Sochi

MOSCOW. October 20. KAZINFORM As many as 11 persons were injured in a bus-truck collision in the Russian resort city of Sochi, a police spokesman said on Tuesday; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
"Eyewitnesses contacted traffic police to report the traffic accident. They said a heavy-duty truck collided with a passenger bus carrying people at the mouth of the Khosta tunnel," the spokesman said.
According to the spokesman, the accident was blamed on the truck driver who had not let the bus pass along the main road towards downtown Sochi. The bus driver could not avoid the collision and rammed into the truck making it veer and run into a wall. Eleven bus passengers were injured, four of them were hospitalized.
