10th Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons kicks off in Astana

"7 workshops, demonstration surgeries, with the participation of leading neurosurgeons from Japan, the USA, Turkey, Germany, Russia, Israel and Kazakhstan were carried out at the National Center of Neurosurgery. In addition we plan to discuss the latest technology in the field of neurosurgery and neurology", said Professor Serik Akshulakov, President of the 10th ACNS, President of the Kazakh Association of Neurosurgeons. The event will run until September 13. The congress has being attended by over 600 international delegates from 50 countries including the President of the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons Yoko Kato, President of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies Peter Blake, President of the International Institute of Neurosciences Majid Samia, honorary President of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies Alexander Konovalov, honorary President of the International Neurosurgical Community Shlomi Constantini and many other well-known experts. It bears to remind that the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons was established in 1993 and first held in Japan.
