102 transplants performed in Kazakhstan this year

ASTANA. October 4. KAZINFORM 102 transplant operations have been conducted in Kazakhstan since the beginning of this year, Vice Minister of Health Erik Baizhunusov has said today during a press conference in the Central Communications Service, Kazinform refers to primeminister.kz.
"If last year we held 20-30 transplants, this year we have already performed 102 transplants. This is a very good pace," he said.
According to him, the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan gets all the necessary information on the organization of organ donation in the world through the WHO. Presently, the Ministry is studying the experience of the leading countries of the world.
