"This program is widely discussed by all citizens of Kazakhstan who fully support the values and priorities highlighted by President Nazarbayev. The 100 specific steps program is a guideline to follow for the years to come," Ms Krykpayeva told Kazinform correspondent. In her words, ‘a lot of work will be done within the framework of the program'. Aklima Krykpayeva also praised the Kazakh leader for paying utmost attention to the development of science and education in the program, especially technical education. "Our university has been selected among other top 10 national higher education institutions that will educate and train future specialists for enterprises - participants of the 100 specific steps program based in East Kazakhstan region. As educators, we are to raise well-educated and competitive youth who will be able to fulfill specific tasks," she noted. "Besides, our university has focused on academic mobility in recent years. Our professors do short-term internships and our students study at top-ranking European, American and Asian universities. Within the framework of cooperation with our international colleagues we invite foreign scientists to deliver lectures and hold consultations at our university," Ms Krykpayeva added.
