10 thousand Kazakh specialists to be involved in EXPO 2017 in Astana
"For the exhibition we need to prepare 10 thousand specialists, of which about 3.5 thousand are to be highly educated people having knowledge of alternative energy sources and other advanced technologies," Tlemisov said.
The Ministry of Education and Science is responsible for training of volunteers, guides, as well as narrow specialists.
Besides, the expert said that in preparation for the EXPO 2017 it is planned to involve foreign personnel.
In the coming year Kazakhstan plans to introduce a visa-free regime with 34 countries which are members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
"It is not connected with the exhibition in Astana, this is due to the implementation of industrial and innovation policy of Kazakhstan. But, at the same time, this procedure may also increase the number of visitors to EXPO 2017," the representative of the national company concluded.
